Not too many things actually scare me. However, being dismembered while still living does it. This is just some of what 12 (or possibly more) victims of the Cleveland Torso Murderer aka Mad Butcher of Kingsbury Run experienced. These people were all killed between 1935 and 1938 in Cleveland but the lead detective, Peter Merylo, believed there may have been over 13 victims in Cleveland, Youngstown, and Pittsburgh. (more…)

B1 Butcher: Serial Killer Saturday

The B1 Butcher is such a creative and descriptive name and to know that he or she was never caught will send shivers up your spine once you know how that moniker came to fit so well. Between 2005 and 2007 in Nambia a butcher stalked his pray by the National B1 road and killed at least 5 women, hacking them apart with precision. I say at least because, as you can see from the picture, that is a huge stretch of road and, since they were in parts, it is almost impossible to say they found a piece of each of the victims. So, since thinkgoat has returned (all hail our resident badass!) I thought I would dust off the writing chops with something I highly enjoy! I ran this little idea by our badass and we thought it would be great to do a special Serial Killer Saturday each week.
