Miami, FL A lot of men know the joys of being a father to little clones of themselves, especially when they’re two years old. The little rugrats are more than excited to learn what they can from their fathers. I mean, what kid wouldn’t want to learn how to hunt for dinosaurs, make fruit loop necklaces, draw pictures, catch a baseball, and learn how to box? Wait, boxing?
Lee Willie DeJesus thought it would be cool to teach his 2-year-old son how to box while the child’s mother went to work. Apparently this Cassius Clay wannabe isn’t full of great ideas, judging by his pigtails. DeJesus allegedly hit his 2-year-old son 15 times in the head, torso, and shoulders while wearing 1 lb. gloves. It is not yet known exactly how hard he was hitting him, but the child ended up falling off the bed and hitting his head on the floor, rendering him unconscious. If that wasn’t fatherly enough, he waited most of an hour after the little boy became unresponsive to call for help.
The poor little guy was rushed to a children’s hospital and underwent surgery for bleeding of the brain, and is there on life support and reported to be brain dead. The purpose of the life support is so that he can donate his organs. Even though he’s only 2, it sounds like he’s the only one in the family who cares about more than himself. DeJesus was hoping to get out on a bond, saying that his son wasn’t dead yet, so it wasn’t murder (he’s so caring and worried about his son…just kidding) and the judge refused it because his son was brain dead, and it’s just as bad. He was originally charged with aggravated child abuse and neglect, which was later bumped up to second degree murder.
It was reported that family services had been called in the past on DeJesus for beating on the child’s mother, with no charges ever pressed. So I personally have to hold the mother partly responsible for this tragic incident. It’s one thing to leave your child with a stranger. It’s another to leave your child with a loser. DeJesus’ sister, Rachel DeJesus, tells reporters that he has a history of anger management problems. It makes me wonder if he was teaching his son to box, or if he was upset that he was having a bad hair day and took it out on his son since his girlfriend was gone. People with anger management problems are unpredictable and pretty soon he’s going to realize that prison rape is also unpredictable.

He’s at least either incredibly stupid or short-tempered and violent. Probably both. Either way he should never have been left alone with a child. I agree the mother shares some of the blame in this. I hate when I hear abused women say “he would never hurt the kids” and rationalize staying with their abuser. It’s the stupidest thing I have ever heard. If he’s capable of hitting the mother of his child, he’s capable of hitting the child, it’s as simple as that. I hope both parents rot in prison where people can beat on them everyday of their lives.
I do have to give the mother a little credit though, for allowing the boy’s organs to be donated so other children’s lives can be saved.

The mother of this child is partially responsible and I can’t imagine the guilt she must have on her shoulders right now. I know if it were me, I wouldn’t be able to live with myself knowing it was just one bad decision that killed my child. It’s always heartbreaking to know that a child has lost their life because of stupidity like this, and I was glad to know that his organs were donated.

I find it extremely difficult to believe he’d not exhibited any violence toward that child prior to this…especially with a history of violence toward her. She’s just as responsible as he. It’s also bullshit no charges were filled against him prior to this. Laziness on the authorities side – from Family Services and the police. There’s no excuse for not pressing charges and it doesn’t matter if the victim wants them or not. A crime was committed against the State – the victim is just the utensil. That said, it was more than one bad decision that this mother made. She continued with those bad decisions every day she and that child were in the same vicinity as him.

yes the mother is responsible…that no good no life bitch loved the man more than her own child and she is having a baby from the same guy in feburary and she still stays in touch with him while he is in prison i wish there was some way to put her lying sneaky ass in prison…how do i know all this shit…that fucking hoe ass bitch is my sister…put her fucking ass in jail…she knew all along thatthe baby was being abused.

On the bright side, he’s in prison. The not-so-bright side: they’re reproducing fucktards. These are the type of people that make me wonder how and why we don’t have some kind of law stating who can and cannot have children! People like this should be fixed!
