In a very sad case out of Durham, North Carolina the body of 5-year-old Jadon Higganbothan and a woman, Antoinetta McKoy, 28, have been found in a backyard partially buried. 7 people of a cult called, “The Black Hebrew Israelites,” have been charged in their murders including the alleged leader, Pete Lucas Moses, Jr., 27. Port St. Lucie, Fl. This sweet smiling little face belongs to 11 year old Celina Okwuone. She was a student at St. Anastasia Catholic School in Fort Pierce Florida. I came across this article and it begged me to do a write-up. My youngest girl is eleven…I would say she was typical of kids her age anywhere. She loves watching Spongebob Squarepants and iCarly. Loves her video games, music, her friends, and her pets. I lack the writing talent to truly express the depth of my love for her. Last October, she had a very invasive surgery to correct severe scoliosis. I will never forget the mask of pain on her face during her week in recovery in ICU I shed my share of tears. I would have happily bore the pain for her, but life doesn’t work that way. (more…)
Movie Review: MacGruber (2010)

The latest in the series of SNL skits turned into full length features, “MacGruber” bravely steals defeat from the jaws of victory at most every point during it’s run time. One blurb says it’s the best SNL movie since “Wayne’s World”, (a statement I agree with) which is comparable to smelling pieces of shit and saying “this one doesn’t smell as bad as the other four or five”. Morrow, Georgia My friend Kelly was going to take his daughter to visit Santa Claus yesterday and I tried to convince him to take his turn sitting on Santa’s lap. I’m not sure if he’s ever taken me seriously in the umpteen years I’ve known him and yesterday was no different. I tried to convince him it wasn’t really unheard of and the only thing that would really draw attention to the situation would be if he happened to piss on his lap, there was still no way he was going to humor me long distanced and actually do it. And just as I closed out our chat, I came across this story of a guy around our age who was filled with the holiday spirit and promptly got arrested. (more…)
