Crazy Eyes
By RaVen Blackehart
Clearwater, Florida Too many times when a woman gets an order of protection against a boyfriend or spouse, they are not worth the paper they are printed on. Such is the case of Laura Taft on February 17th of this year.
Her crazy eyed boyfriend, 34 year old Craig Alan Wall, had caused the death of their their 5 week old
son Craig Jr. on February 5th, and she did the right thing by getting an order of protection against him.
Wall had the nerve to show up at the baby’s funeral, thus violating the protection order. He was jailed and released on $1000 bail, which seems awfully low.
He then stabbed his girlfriend to death, and tried to commit suicide by ingesting some over the counter sleeping pills. What a guy! His family must be so proud….
He still hasn’t been charged with the baby’s death, hopefully that comes soon.
RIP Laura and Craig Jr.
Men generally don’t make good babysitters, especially of tiny babies. I’m not being prejudiced or bigoted here, it’s just a sad fact of life.

Here is a sick update on this story…
This asshole is a suspect in his son’s death. He violated the order of protection taken out by his ex girlfriend and when he went to court for that violation, the asst. State’s Attorney fucked up. He didn’t mention the baby’s death. Not once. He didn’t mention Wall’s list of violence…like armed robbery and grand theft auto. Because of this, his bond was set at $1000. A grand. He was able to pay and get out and go stab his girlfriend to death.
State’s Attorney Bernie McCabe is acknowledging the mishandling in public. Mishandling? I say it’s a severe fuck-up. But whatever. It’s too late. We’ve got a mother who tried to take every step possible knowing what a danger her ex posed. The State failed her and she’s dead.
At LEAST there is acknowledgement.

I hope her family is able to sue the state, they must be devastated. I think some people should lose their jobs!

Two noteworthy updates in this story today:
James Flynn, the Asst. State’s Attorney has been taken out of the domestic violence division of the counts and is now handling the general misdemeanor cases.
Genuinely remorseful? I’d hope so. What employee in the SA’s office doesn’t bring up a criminal history in court while setting bail? What are they teaching these guys in law school?

As a man, I find the statement about baby setting offensive. It is TOTALLY sexist and not based on fact. You might have had a limited life experience with some loser men, but there are plenty of guys out there who make good parents. Even the ones that don’t have the childcare knowledge, can be trained to handle any situation as well as a woman. Loving and caring for a child is not just the domain of a woman. In addition, there are plenty of abusive females out there as well.

Often, when men abuse, torture, rape, and kill the little ones, mommy is close by watching it all happen. Which is worse? She is, in my book. The stories out there may not feature as many women who’s hand is responsible but it’s my firm belief they’re just as culpable.
Perhaps my situation is completely different as there are more men I’d trust my herd with than women here. And my herd was cared for, as babies, by their father while I worked a separate shift so they couldn’t be ignored in daycare.

LMAO. Excluding the childcare part of this, training men is hard, Mike. Time consuming and hard! It took me months to train on how to lower both toilet seats
